Mathematics for General Studies Have you ever wondered how mathematics affects you personally? MATH 1010 is a course designed to show you some perhaps surprising ways mathematics appears in everyday life, from finding the best deal on a car, to making sense of arguments, to understanding and solving problems of all kinds. Course topics include but are not limited to Problem Solving and Algebraic Reasoning, Patterns, Formal Logic, Probability and Statistics and Financial Mathematics.
