Description:
College Mathematics for Managerial, Social, and Life Sciences Mathematics applies to quantitative problems that originate in many fields such as business, economics, communication, finance, management and leadership, risk management and insurance, and supply chain management. MATH 1630 is designed to provide an appreciation of the application of mathematics to these fields and to provide opportunities to solve some of the associated problems. Major topics are solving systems of linear equations, linear programming, financial mathematics, set theory, and probability theory.
