Description:
College Algebra Algebra is used to solve quantitative problems that originate in many fields such as audio engineering, mechatronics engineering, aerospace, physics, nursing, chemistry, psychology, business, finance, and communication. MATH 1710 offers a wide variety of settings and explorations in which students acquire and demonstrate the ability to interpret, represent, calculate, apply, and analyze numerical data. Topics in this course include functions–linear, quadratic, exponential, and logarithmic; analysis of graphs; linear systems; inequalities; counting principles; and probability.
