BLUEPRINTS

A collection of thematically related courses that students can choose to navigate through the True Blue Core. Created through faculty collaboration, Blueprints are intended to help students see the connections among their Core courses. Most Blueprints connect a minimum of 3 courses and are cross disciplinary and cross college.

Key Features:

  • They are optional: you can start or stop a Blueprint whenever you want.
  • They are tailored to bring faculty expertise together with student interests.
  • You can choose Blueprints to match your interests.
  • You may complete multiple Blueprints.
  • You earn a digital badge when you complete a Blueprint.

Sustainablility Blueprint Description:

Courses in the Sustainability Blueprint have been strategically selected to offer multiple approaches to realizing the connections between people and the responsible use of resources available to them. Through interdisciplinary study and applied learning, students will be able to enhance their conceptions of sustainability by:

  • Understanding how environmental, social, and economic systems interact across local and global contexts.
  • Analyzing sustainability challenges using interdisciplinary and evidence-based approaches.
  • Evaluating and applying solutions that promote equity, resilience, and environmental stewardship.
  • Reflecting on personal and professional responsibilities in advancing sustainability.
